Our Summer Camp is geared toward outdoor playful learning, social interaction, introduction of 4 basic preschool themes/skills and jam packed full of Sunshine and Summer Fun!
Your 3, 4 & 5, 6 year olds will have a blast and thoroughly enjoy a break in their summer routine!

We are excited to team up with Elementary Education Major, Kayla Bartholomew...who has taught for several years with the Nebo County School District and is traveling to Davis County this Summer to help make SMARTY PANTS SUMMER CAMP one to remember!

Our 2010 Camps will be held July 12-15 and July 19-22!
Put one of these weeks on your calendar today...and let the learning begin:)
Time: 11:00 - 1:30 p.m. Monday -Thursday
Lunch will be Served Daily...and will coordinate with our Theme of the day!
Children will also get a Smarty Pants Summer Camp T-shirt!
Monday:
Dr. Suess Day! We will be learning all about AUTHORS and introducing early reading skills...with a focus on our all time favorite; Dr. Suess!
Green eggs and ham, wocket in my pocket, cat in the hat, 1 fish 2 fish, etc.
Your child will love our creative Games and Art projects that coordinate with the Dr. Suess Stories!
This and MUCH more will provide a crazy fun day of celebrating our favorite Author!!
Tuesday:
5 Senses! Day 2 of Camp will be spent exploring...our 5 senses! So many darling activities that will have your child sniffing, touching, tasting, seeing and hearing some entertaining things! 2 Art projects that help us learn a little bit more about this fun preschool theme...a lunch full of Textures and different tastes, music and dancing and a whole lot of learning!
Wednesday:
Community Helpers! Day 3 is our favorite...with a guest helper AND a field Trip...it's bound to be your child's favorite too! Day 3 will be held at Layton Park and Fire Station! The Pizza Man is coming and after an impressive dough tossing, Pizza Making Demonstration...we will eat a delicous lunch! Of course, a pizza art project will follow in which we will master our shapes (and favorite toppings:) We then take a little field trip to meet another important Community helper...a Fireman! A tour of the Layton City Fire Department and a climb aboard a Real Fire Engine make this day a blast!
Thursday:
What is summer without a little Water Fun! Wear your suits...You WILL get wet! We will spend the last day of Camp at our "Water Party" with a focus on bugs and butterflies! Each child will go on a "bug hunt adventure" while searching for colorful plastic bugs hidden in the 500 square foot Sand box! This is always a hit! Sprinklers, Slippin Slides, popsicles, pudding paints, water coloring masterpieces...the works! It's a wonderful way to end a wonderful week here at Smarty Pants!
